Group submissions and module requirements

I have a module set up so that students must work through all of the requirements. Some of the assignments are group assignments. If the module requirement is "Submit," does only the student who actually makes the submission meet that requirement or will Canvas see that all group members have met the requirement and move all students closer to completion of the module?

I was able to test this out for you! 

If you set your students in groups, and have a group assignment as part of the module requirement, it looks like one student in the group has to submit in order to unlock the next module.
