I keep getting an error message when I try to attach a term to a new grading period.
Anyone have any thoughts or possible solutions? : )

Thanks for sharing those images. To be honest, I haven't used that "Grading Periods" tab in the "Grading" area of the back-end of Canvas. So, I'm not exactly sure how it works. But, I assume you've been following the instructions in this Guide:
How do I add grading periods in an account?
If you are getting error messages like the one you included in your posting, I would recommend that you reach out to Canvas Support to see if they can assist you further with this. It's possible that someone else has already reported something similar, and so then your issue would be attached to an existing ticket. Or, if it's a new issue, they would take a look at it, too. Either way, you should get notified of any updates from the Help Desk staff. You can contact the Help Desk by following this Guide:

I'm not sure I totally understand your question. Would you be able to provide some screenshots or provide steps you are taking within Canvas where you are getting this error message? Any additional information from you would be very helpful. Thanks! Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
