Google Assignments LTI 1.3 Collaborations do not show in Collaboration List

Hello,

When creating a collaboration with Google Assignments LTI 1.3 in Google Chrome, I notice that the corresponding Google Drive asset is Created in Google Drive, but the Collaboration itself does not show up in the Collaboration list in Canvas.

Everything works well in Safari and Firefox.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I have a feeling it has to do with a recent update to Google Chrome ( I guess it is too much to ask that GOOGLE Assignments LTI 1.3 work with GOOGLE Chrome)

Our Environment:

I tested this in Google Chrome Version 122.0.6261.129 running on MacOS 12.7.3

I cleared on Cache and Cookies and restarted a few times...

We are running the Assignments LTI 1.3 along with Google Drive as there are some instructors still using Google Drive for Collaborations.

I contacted Canvas support. They could not reproduce the issue and said to contact Google. It took some sleuthing to figure out the Google Chrome component.

Hello Greg, 

We're having the same trouble, as are other institutions so it seems pretty widespread. We currently have a ticket in L2 right now so here's hoping someone can identify the issue!

Firefox was having the same issue this morning, but I just retested it and it actually worked! Hopefully, they can get it working in Chrome soon. When I hear back about my ticket with Chrome I'll post it here.

Hello Greg, 

We've been working with our CSM who had the engineers at instructure reach out to Google. As of this morning, it seems to be working for me. Are you able to create a collaboration with 1.3 in Chrome now?

This looks to be resolved.

I tested in Google Chrome on a Mac and PC and the collaboration shows up in the Collaboration list in Canvas and in Google Drive.
