Formatting in gradebook

Have there been any attempts to modify the "Headings" in the Gradebook so that those of us with many assignments may keep the assignment name visible while making the overall width of the Column narrow?    Also, if I manually shrink the column width, I lose not only the assignment title but also the "points possible."   

Even if the headers could be left justified instead of centered.  Left Justifying would be better than nothing. 

Also, Is there a way to print the Gradebook as it looks when I'm in Canvas?  I can do this in the TeacherEase program and it is so helpful.  So far, The only way I can print a working copy of the Gradebook is to export it, and then it gives tons of info that I don't need.  And I waste time trying to highlight the cells to get pertinent info.

Unfortunately, I do not believe any of what you want to do is possible.  There may be changes coming with the gradebook in the future, but I have not checked the roadmap to see if any of these topics (or the gradebook in general) is on the list.

I am in agreement  that I would like to be able to export the gradebook without all the extra columns for each assignment group.  By the way in case someone else sees this or you are interested in knowing, the following is a blog post I found about understanding the grade book export
