Do student work submissions come back to a course if a student is dropped from a course and then re-enrolled back in that course??
Example:
- Student A was enrolled in a course from Sept 1-Sept 15. During that time, student submitted work to course assignments.
- Student drops course on Sept 16 and then is re-enrolled back into the same course a month later sometime in October.
Do the submissions the student made during their time in the course from Sept 1-Sept 15 reappear when they are enrolled back into that course in October?
TIA

@kyle_bundy ...
Yup...everything should come back just as if the student had never dropped the course. You could certainly test this out in your school's Canvas "test" environment if you wanted. Sign in to your "test" environment, drop the student from the course, and then re-add the student. The work should re-appear.
- What is the Canvas test environment?
- How do I access the Canvas test environment as an instructor?
- How do I access the Canvas test environment as an admin?
Make sure to log out of the "test" environment before logging back into your school's "production" environment ... which is the environment you log into normally on a daily basis.
Hope this helps a bit. Sing out if you have any questions...thanks!
