Delay manual feedback for classic quiz essay questions.

I am looking for assistance with the following:
Students complete short answer/essay quizzes (Classic Quizzes) throughout the term. I write individualized feedback for each student's response via the Canvas feedback response box (within Speed Grader).
I want to ensure that:
1) students can see the feedback after the item's due date. Would this require me to extend the "available to" parameter beyond the item's due date? 'View Responses' is already set to 'Always'.
and,
2) students cannot view this written feedback before the item's due date passes. I would like to get a jump start on grading their responses upon submission. This way, students cannot share correct answers easily with one another from the feedback that I've provided before the item is due for everyone in the section.
