Community Features

Given the remote nature that some institutions have moved to, what community features does Canvas offer to bring students together with remote learning? 

• Discussion Boards?
• Opt-in only - maps for students to show their broad location for potential meetups with classmates?
• Opt-in only - a place for social networking handles that is visible to other students?
• Hosting virtual Study Groups?
• Opt-in only - a place for alumni and students to interact?
• Opt-in only - mentor/mentee matching?

Or if there's a community app that integrates into Canvas nicely I'd love to hear about that too!
