Comments in speed grader disappear when I hit submit

Hello --

I am grading a project through speedgrader -- I made a lot of comments for the students to review and when I hit submit, those comments disappear and they are not posted where they are usually posted when I have made comments before in the grading area.   Its not on the document it is in the grade area and in the area for comments.  When I hit download submission comments, the comments are there but they are not on the student screen for them to see.

Any help would be great

@SaraMagretto Does this happen to be a group assignment? I have seen this occur when it is set as a group assignment, but the submissions are by students not in groups.

@james_whalley Actually yes!!! I didn't realize the students were not assigned to a group but it was a group assignment.

@SaraMagretto Once they get added to groups, everything should appear.
