Is Canvas not compatible with Acer Chromebook? I have been trying to log into my classes for a week on my Chromebook.

Hello @CandaceBiglow
Thanks for posting this in the Canvas community!
As far as I understand, Chromebooks should be compatible with Canvas as long as they are up to date.
I located THIS information about Browser and computer requirements for Canvas.
Just for clarification what seems to be happening when you try to login? Are you unable to login? Are you receiving any error messages?
Any additional information you can provide us with will help us make recommendations to hopefully alleviate this.

I'm on a Samsung Chromebook and I'm having the same issue. The Canvas dashboard doesn't load at all.
Our institution has run into several HP Chromebooks users who when they log into Canvas, get a partial page. The link to the Dashboard is there, but the Dashboard is empty. The links to the Calendar, Inbox, Studio and Help are also there. However, when you click on the link, the page is blank. You can access the various areas of the course shell by typing in the URL but that is no an option for the student and not all pages display. The cache has been cleared and the Chromebook is up to date with the latest version (77.0.3865.120 32-bit). I attempted to install a different browser, but could not because it would not run the Linux system. I reached out to Canvas Support but there was no reported issues at that time. But from what I am seeing in the Community, there is a reoccurring theme.
We also have students on a Chromebook. Apparently, Chrome had an update that is affecting Canvas. Per our IT department, they recommended the computer user do a "powerwash" to take them back to factory. This would allow them to upgrade to a previous version, at least version 100.
Here is a link to the Dell website, which walks you through it. https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000156379/how-to-revert-chrome-os-back-to-a-previous-instal....

One of my students is using an Acer Chromebook (Chromebook 13)
Has latest version of Chrome.
Cookies/browsing history was cleared.
When logging into Canvas it does not complete the log-in, i.e., the course folder/image will not show up.
Has no access to the course. Only can see INBOX and help menu but nothing else.
The student is able to log in using a "School Chromebook" so this is confusing.
