We are setting up a quiz with a specific submission timeframe. It is timed, they cannot see their answers immediately, no multiple attempts. We have set the Due Date, along with Available from and Until (with the same due date). attached screenshot.

However, we ONLY want them to be able to view the correct answers in a certain timeframe AFTER the quiz is due. For example, we will have a quiz Available from April 18th 5P Until April 19th 5P. In the section that allows Students to See Their Quiz Responses, we selected that option along with Let Students See The Correct Answers:

Show Correct Answers April 19th 5:01P (the quiz is due at 5P)

Hide Correct Answers April 19th 6P (59 minutes to view their quiz responses and see correct ones)attached screenshot

Is this the correct way to do what we'd like to do? We were having issues with students still being able to submit the quiz (it would be indicated late) because in the UNTIL date box, professors thought they had to input the Hide Correct Answers time-so it would allow students to take the quiz, and although it was flagged as "late" bc of the due date, we don't want to allow that. 

I want to ensure that putting in a Hide Correct Answers time set after the time indicated in the Due/Until boxes will allow them to take the quiz when we allow, close at a certain time and not allow late submissions, and answers can be only be viewed after the due date for a certain amount of time.

Hello,

Based on your description, the dates will do what you intend it to do. The until date can be the same date as the due date and that will prevent students from submitted "late" after the due date. 

I have tested your description myself. If you look at my screenshot you will see in "student view," students will get a message saying, "Correct answers will be available . . . "
