Canvas Calendar - Personal To-Do Lists

Hi Everyone

We are currently exploring the Canvas Calendar functionality to help students with organising their work.

The To-Do list is a great tool for helping students stay organised. When items are set as "to-do" in pages, by setting the item as a requirement then mark as done, we are able to allow students to cross these items off their list (with a clear line through the item). This is ideal as it shows the student what they have completed. 

When testing the to-do list on the personal calendar, I couldn't find a way to mark items as complete other than to delete them from the calendar.

I've looked at the Canvas guides and online but I'm unable to find any further information on how to do this. 

Does anyone know if it's possible to mark items as done in a personal calendar to-do list?

I have not used it, but your question prompted me to look at the Canvas Guides to learn more about To Do items on a user's personal Calendar in Canvas.   According to the Guide, there isn't a way to cross it off, only to delete it when you're done:  How do I add a to-do item in the Calendar? (scroll down to the section called "Manage To Do.")

It would be a nice added feature if you could mark it as completed and then have a record to look back on for reference.  I would definitely recommend submitting this as an Idea!   It's a great idea 😉
