Yes, I have experienced this before. This is likely due to a configuration issue. What I have had to do was remove the app completely from my Canvas course and then re-add it manually and I had to be sure the Consumer Key that was found under my account (we use canva for education edition) was correct. I think it wasn't before, and it was resolved after that.
However, if you do those steps and still do not accomplish to successfully remove the error message, it wouldn't hurt to reach out to Canva's support team with generating a consumer key that will work seamlessly with your Canvas course.
Something else I also recommend checking out if you haven't... @CanvasLMSQueen created a YouTube video explaining how to add Canva to your course in a very easy way. I will link that video below if you're interested in checking it out, I believe she did a great job walking you through the steps necessary to get Canva running on your Canvas course.
