Can the Canvas Inbox message be defaulted to have the box checked for Send an individual message to each recipient?

Can the Canvas Inbox message be defaulted to have the box always checked for Send an individual message to each recipient? I rarely want the message I send to not be sent as an individual message to each recipient (referring to the student and observers). This change has caught me a few times, like today for example. I forgot to click the box to send and individual message to each recipient. I look forward to your answer. Thank you!

I'm not aware of a built-in way this can be done currently be done in Canvas.  It's likely possible for your school/institution Canvas team to add custom scripting to Canvas to do this, but it would generally affect all users of the system.  You could definitely reach out to that team (usually in the Learning / IT / Digital Education areas) to see if it's something they'd be willing to consider.  You could also submit this as an idea in the official Canvas feature ideas area of the community, though since that would be a global change it might be hard to get agreement on it.
