Can't download embedded Google Slides

On my Canvas assignment, is there a way I can export an embedded Google Slides presentation into my Google Drive? I did not create the original Slides and I'd like to add them to my Google account without having to recreate them. When I click on the three dots at the bottom left of the presentation, I don't have the option to Download.

Hi @CG100,
The ability to copy/download Google Slides presentations is controlled by the owner of the presentation. When sharing, there is an option to let viewers download/copy, and I am assuming that is disabled for the presentation you are viewing. You could ask your teacher to enable that if it's their presentation, but if it's a presentation from someone else, you'd need to figure out who that person is and if you have a way to contact them. I'd guess if they do not have that option available now that they turned it off on purpose, but that is only an assumption on my part.
