Attendance - Multiple Sections at Once

Is there a way to take attendance for all sections within a Canvas course at once, instead of going section by section? 

We have a manually created course that we've cross-listed SIS generated courses into, totaling around 100 students. All students come to one room, so it would save a lot of time to be able to see all of the students in one list rather than having to toggle across 6 sections to find them.

Hi @kaci_cohn,

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a way to view an entire course's enrollments at one time with the Roll Call Attendance took as it exists today.  I wish I had better news for you, but at least you now know you're not just missing an option or anything.

Chris (@chriscas) shared in a 2024 post how to submit this idea to the Ideas list for Canvas. It looks like there are other folks asking the same question in the Community Forum, too; thank you Chris for answering those as your answers helped me get the answer to an instructor at my university. 😊
