Canvas Parent Release Notes (iOS 3.7)

In Canvas Parent iOS 3.7, a Switch Mode button allows users to switch assignment details from dark to light mode when the app theme is set to Dark Mode. A pop-up consent displays when the Acceptable Use Policy has been updated upon logging in. Also, the Parent App is renamed Canvas Parent. The date and time picker is updated for assignment reminders. Additionally, the Login page displays an improved design to better align with the Instructure brand. And after initial login, the Login page saves and displays the last institution used to log into the app.

Canvas iOS app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users enrolled in automatic updates over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available, but iOS users can manually update the app at any time in the iTunes Store. The Canvas Parent iOS App requires iOS 15.0 or later.
