We appreciate your ongoing feedback regarding the Lucid integration in Canvas. One of the key takeaways has been a need for further information and assistance on international data hosting locations. We and Lucid are excited to announce additional regional hosting options for those institutions located outside of the United States.
Lucid is helping institutions by providing the option to change the hosting location for any global customer. The available data centre locations can be found on Lucid’s Global data residency information page.

For institutions located outside the USA, if you are interested in turning on the Lucid integration in Canvas, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM). You will be asked to provide your name and contact information so a representative from Lucid can reach out to confirm your desired configuration options. Lucid will then set up your account in the requested hosting centre. After your account has been set up, your CSM will contact you to confirm that your system is ready to begin using the Lucid LTI integration. Note that these instructions also apply to institutions outside of the USA who are already using the Lucid integration, but only in beta. You will follow the same steps to request access to Lucid in your production environment.
If you have already set up your production Lucid integration with a hosting location in the United States and your institution is located within the EU or Australia, Lucid is working on transitioning your account over to the relevant regionally hosted location. Your CSM should already be in contact with you to provide your contact details to the Lucid team so they can complete the transition.
