[Speedgrader] Make Submit Button in Speedgrader Remain Visible always
I have just noticed that I must scroll down to see the "Submit" button at the bottom of the speedgrader right pane. If I did not know it was there, I would have missed it. I am not sure if this has always been the case, or just since the introduction of RCE in Speedgrader, which is a bit bulkier.
Ideally, the "Submit button" should float so that it is always visible. There are other problems with the Submit button. Teachers don't really know what it does. Some teachers might think that they must click this to make the grade visible to the student. That is not the case. If the Gradebook is set to "Automatically Post Grades," then the grade will become visible immediately, whether "Submit" is clicked or not. On the other hand, if you have "Manually Post Grades" set, then the students will NOT see the grades, even after you click Submit. A 3rd issue is that there are 3 different ways to input grades: in the Gradebook Column, in the Grade Details Pane, and in Speedgrader. In only one of those methods is there a "Submit" button. The workflows are very confusing here.
