[SpeedGrader] RCE Limitations

Problem statement:

•Rich Content Editor (RCE) added to Speed Grader causes problems with Comments Library formatting and •RCE does not include Equation Editor

Proposed solution:

•Either allow RCE when editing the Comments Library or allow RCE to be disabled •Include Equation Editor in the RCE Speed Grader module

Canvas Deploy Notes (2024-09-25) announced that the RCE comments in SpeedGrader will include the math equation feature. I hope that's a welcome update! Because that is coming to LMS soon, and because you included two requests in a single post, we're moving this to our Will Not Consider status.

Regarding the formatting or conflicting features between the RCE comments and the Comment Library, please reach out to Canvas Support so they can verify that what you're experiencing isn't a larger issue. How do I contact Canvas Support?
