[Reports] List of Original Quizzes for Migrating

We are getting ready to make a big push to move faculty from Original Quizzes to New Quizzes and we need to know the scope of this effort to discover which courses have Original Quizzes and how many Original Quizzes are in each course.

We thought it would be easy enough for Canvas Support to generate this report for us. Someone with access to the 'access log database' for example, could pull a report that would give us a single instance of anytime that this has been accessed:

"marybaldwin.instructure.com/courses/*/quizzes/*" where * is a wild card. Or there surely is even a more clever way. 

This was their response

"As of now there isn't an easy way to pull all the data for an instance at one time to show which quizzing engine is being used. You could use this API call https://canvas.instructure.com/doc/api/quizzes.html#method.quizzes/quizzes_api.index and loop through your courses."

There must be some other institutions that are working on this, have any of you figured out how to do this yet in a way you can share with us? Our instructional technology team is not API call savvy.
