The problem is that the standard reports provided by Canvas doesn't provide a way to get a list of all courses in a sub-account or for the entire institution with a total amount number of students listed for each course.
The proposed solution would be that a new report be offered which is called student counts. This report would be a list of the courses in a subaccount or the institution with the name/section of the course, and the corresponding amounts of students in each course in numerical fashion. The reason why this would be important is because this kind of report would provide institutions additional context and save time to make this kind of report already natively available in Canvas.
