[Reports] Better Assignment Reports (Late and No Submissions)
There seems to be a lack of assignment reporting which is really important within colleges and universities. Curriculum admins recently asked me if Canvas can produce a list of students who have missing assignments (no submission and the due date has passed) and a list of late submissions (based on submissions after a deadline). Out of the box, I see no easy way of doing this. There is an increasing demand for academic office teams to report on and check this kind of data. Note this is about assignments using Canvas SpeedGrader.
Within the settings > reports area of Canvas, can we have two assignment reports that can show the following; a list of students who have not submitted and the deadline date/time has passed, a list of students who have submitted beyond their deadline date/time. This report should include student details, the Canvas course name and the assignment name. Having seen other reports on there such as 'students with no submissions' in theory these two new proposed reports should be easy to create.
