[People] Icons indicative of status or membership in the 'People' section of an account

Problem statement:

Our integration currently manages the creation and status of both staff and students in Canvas, automatically suspending and reactivating users when their contracts or tenure ends at our institution; e.g. a sessional teacher who may only be employed at our institution for 3 months of a given year will be created, but cannot access Canvas outside of this time, if they return to our institution their account will be reactivated. Occasionally our institution hires vendors (external consultants) to work within our Canvas instance, and 'vendors' as a membership is intentionally ignored by our integration, so we manually manage the creation and status of those users in Canvas e.g. when a vendor contracts end, we manually suspend that user. There are also rare instances were we would need to suspend a student account within Canvas. NB: This is all precautionary, as our main "off switch" for user access is managed via our SSO. To check whether a user has been suspended or not via the user interface, you need to physically go into that users profile to see the exclamation mark. As we have a significant number of sessional staff and vendors who would be marked as suspended, it would be great to be able to see the status of the user at a glance, or be able to filter the people view

Proposed solution:

Within the 'People' tab in a given account, it would be nice for an admin to be able to quickly discern the status of a user in list view by seeing the exclamation mark denoting the suspended status next to the 'Edit' pencil. Alternatively, it would be nice to be able to have a set of filters added to the 'People' tab which allows you to filter by status i.e. similar to the 'Include deleted users in search results', we could have a checkbox to 'Include suspended users from search results'.
