Problem statement:

Canvas's Course Access Report does not show the first time a student accesses an item.

Proposed solution:

With 59% to 68% of college students admitting to cheating in some form, maintaining academic integrity in online courses is more important than ever. Canvas’s course access report can be a valuable tool in detecting and preventing cheating in distance education. However, for it to be truly effective, the report should include the date and time when a student first accesses an item in Canvas.
