[Pages] Notetaking Capability for Students
If a student wants to take notes on the content posted to a Canvas page, they have use another program like google docs or Word, or they have to have another window open (if they're using e.g. OneNote integration). This can cause disorganization, lack of focus (because switching windows), barriers for people who don't use computers a lot.
When posting videos and pdfs or other readable content, it would be great if students could take notes on the same page. Some kind of document or text box that they could open up next to the video (e.g.) and type into while watching. This would help with focus (no switching between windows), students could take note of important points or questions as they come up and bring them to class, and they could have a record of all their notes for the course by the end, which would be a great study guide.
