When I sync a Blueprint course, that has an associated (child) courses in sub-accounts, I am asked if I wish to: Send Notification and/or Enable New Item Notifications. I expected this to result in users with the appropriate account settings accessing those sub-account associated courses to receive a notification that there had been a change. Having tested this, and then checked with Instructure, I have discovered that this functionality is not available. This functionality would be invaluable to us as we would be able to let our customers (tutors and learners) know when new content had been added. We frequently update/add new content to our courses.
My solution would be to allow this functionality ie that when you Sync a Blueprint, it will automatically send notification to users who access the associated courses, if their user settings have requested they receive such alerts.
