As others have mentioned, we can select how many decimals to include for variables and how many the answers should be rounded to. However, setting up formula questions can get very messy when the goal is a whole number answer or decimal to the tenth, without rounding. I want to create an equation that when solved we can get different x values without crazy decimals. I attempted `2a` in the question stem, but it doesn't allow extra characters either.
Creating options like "odd", "even", or "multiple of ____" would help to ensure that we can get the whole number or other specific answer we're attempting to get. Alternatively, being able to use 2 times the variables in the question stem like `2a`.
