Students can answer quiz/essay questions without engaging them by cutting and pasting AI answers. Thus instructors can't validly ask simple comprehension questions about most readings.
Allow instructors to disable the cut and paste function in quiz answers. This is not a perfect solution, but it will at the least require students to read the AI answers and consider them as they post their answers, thereby gaining the comprehension. This would be a great help as we try to develop new means of dealing with AI.
