[Mobile - Canvas Student] Mobile phone apps when first entering a course do not default to the course home page

Problem statement:

Mobile phone app does not default to the course home page but shows a repeat of the course card instead. When you login to Mobile App as teacher or student - you see all your course cards. When you click on a course, it shows the course card again instead of the Homepage which would be quicker to access - which is the same way as it is on a desktop.

Proposed solution:

When logging into the Mobile App (IOS and Android) - after tapping on course card to access a course, make the Homepage the new default view, with the ability for the user to tap on the Home page and access the course. The menu for the course for a teacher should be visible either on the top or on the side.

thank you for your idea! What is described here seems to be rather a bug to me, but there is not enough information to decide. Can you please contact your CSM and show the problem in the mobile apps? CSM can help you decide how to step forward.
