[Gradebook Settings] Add "Incomplete" as a status label

Problem statement:

There is missing, excused, late, etc. as a Status Label in the grade book. However, I often wish I could put this so my students know why their grade may have dropped. They sometimes just forget that they need to complete an assignment.

Proposed solution:

When grading assignments, it would be great to have another status label related to "INCOMPLETE" for assignments that are partially submitted.

Thank you for taking the time to share this idea with the Instructure Community.

I'm happy to share that there is an option to add custom statuses to your gradebook! This is something that your Canvas Admin will need to do at the account level, but it is possible. I encourage you to talk to your Tech Department to learn more.

Because this feature is available, I'm moving this thread to our Will Not Consider status.
