[External Tools] Confirmation of submission for students

Problem statement:

For Google Cloud Assignments, students do not get a confirmation if their submission went through. Is there a way to let students know that these assignments were successfully submitted?

Proposed solution:

Create a pop-up notification that lets students know that their work was successfully submitted.

Thank you for this suggestion! Unfortunately this is something which would need to occur on the Google side because of how the submission occurs. Due to what is happening on the back-end, it's likely that the student no longer has the same page up by the time Canvas receives the assignment submission. We do display in the upper righthand side of the student view under "Submission" when we received the submission from the tool, so this is a good place for students to look to confirm that their submission was successful.
