[Elementary] External Tool Due Dates in Canvas for Elementary
Problem statement:
When using Canvas for Elementary, due dates and missing assignments do not show up on the tile for assignments assigned with an external tool. Therefore my students do not know that the assignments that use an external tool are missing or that they are due. For example, my students have an assignment using a Google LTI. The assignment is not showing up on their tile as due today. Also, any students who are missing last week's assignment that used Flip does not show up as missing on their tile.
Proposed solution:
Since we have to create a due date and since their grades do show up in the grade book, there should be a way to have the due date show up on the tile and also show that the assignment is missing.
