DocViewer: Add Text Directly to the Document

In my testing with DocViewer, there is no way to add text directly to the document. This functionality was available with the Crocodoc annotations tool. The only option available with DocViewer is to have comments float out to the right.
A text box overlay is helpful for making corrections on a submission. I liked that the cross-out tool for Crocodoc automatically gave you a text box above the selection. That was convenient for making simple corrections. It would be nice to have similar functionality in DocViewer.
