Unlike the Student App and the Teacher App, parents do not receive Push Notifications from the Canvas Parent App. They receive email notifications, but our parents are asking for push notifications.
This is a common request each year from our parents. We're having a difficult time getting buy in from our parents and this would improve that process. Parents would prefer a notification on their phone rather than an email notification. It would be nice to have that option so that parents can opt in or out according to their preferences.
