[Announcements] Bulk Editing Options

Currently on the announcement page of a course if an instructor wants to bulk delete announcements they must check the box next to each announcement before they can click delete button. Additionally, an instructor must edit each announcement one by one to change the delay date. This is tedious process and a waste of instructors' time.

Please add bulk date change to announcements that are used from one semester to the next. Why should we rewrite our book?

I wish there was a way to copy over announcements that don't automatically get pushed out to the students in the new course.

A simple "select all" button for the announcements would enable them all to be deleted, wouldn't it?

It’s ridiculous that we are still waiting for this feature.  It’s essential for moving between semesters with and without a break.  Every spring I have to edit the dates of 8 weeks worth of announcements individually.  And now it seems to be necessary in fall too.  Please add this feature ASAP.

This is one of those improvements to Canvas that would add to instructor productivity.

While it might not seem as important as other functionality that might be directly connected with teaching & learning, saving instructor time on the operational side of administering a Canvas site means more time that can be spent on higher-value activities.

There definitely is a need for this. Less time spent on the technical part of setting up the course leaves that much more time to focus on good content! As a Canvas Admin, we get this request (complaint) all year long, every year. We always encourage faculty to come here and comment so hopefully one-day Instructure will actually implement this.
