New Analytics has some very important information. In addition to grades, the information about weekly activity and students is very helpful. However, the presentation and access leave something to be desired. How this information is presented, where and when, can actually help address issues before they have occurred.
Show page access statistics and over-time trends - how many and who have accessed the page and when, how this has changed over time, etc - to Instructors (and others with authorship privileges to the page) at the bottom/footer when they go view the page via the "All pages" link https://canvas.{domain}/courses/{course_id}/pages. Show student statistics and over-time trends - their "weekly online activity" and "communications" - at the bottom/footer on the user page https://canvas.{domain}/courses/{course_id}/users/{user_id} to Instructors. Don't make us go to New Analytics for this information.
