Data Services (not to be confused with Canvas Data Portal) are great for checking on live updates to data in your system, however there does not appear to be a way to ONLY report on manually-added/updated (via the web/GUI) events. So if I run a SIS Import feed and there are 200,000+ entities it processes, it also creates an individual "event" and connection for each of those user/course/section/enrollment entities, which is A LOT. We mostly want to use this to track manual updates done by our admins rather than the many hundreds of thousands of records sent via SIS Data APIs or even SIS Imports via the GUI. We already have the ability to view what got sent to the SIS Import framework, so (optionally) no need to duplicate that with a Data Services event.
Add an "exclude SIS Imports" option, which would include SIS imports run via the API and Web/GUI.
