course end date via LTI launch

Is there a way to pass the course end date as a custom variable via the LTI launch? I see the variables for 

Canvas.course.startAt 

Canvas.term.startAt 

but not for the course end at. We are trying to set up a course connected to the Canvas course that has the same start and end date as the Canvas course.

I think you are correct, there is no custom variable for the end date.

You would need to use the API to get it.

It looks like Instructure have developed a fix for this and I'd expect this to be available on beta instances shortly, the commit that added this is: https://github.com/instructure/canvas-lms/commit/07dd88d8a37aad380ce243ac8b7624d4eb331c6c
