Uploading a content into canvas page?

Hi, 

One of our LTI automation tool is launching from rich content editor. We are currently embedding our content into rich content editor. It is duplicated when editing the content again. we find two ways for uploading content in page.

                 1. Embed LTI content into page (editor_button)

                 2. Uploading a content through API. (Update a page)

For using API method we need a particular page URL for uploading content. currently no option getting page URL inside the LTI tool.  Could you please with help with us regarding updating LTI content with canvas page?
