Report parameters in API

When starting a report with the API, anyone know what the parameters need to look like for the different reports that can be generated? I'm currently needing the Outcomes report, but would like to know for any report. The only thing I can find in the documentation is that 'The parameters will vary for each report'.

I am going through having a look at some of the early days in the Canvas Developers group, and checking in to see if older enquiries have been answered. I also noticed there hasn’t been any discussion on this question.
I have had a look and the current iteration of the API documentation has a call that will enable you to see the parameters Account Reports - Canvas LMS REST API Documentation if you run the List Available Reports call.
