PDF package/plugin that Canvas is using?

Hey Community,

I know this might be a dumb question, but can someone tell me which PDF package or plugin that Canvas is using for viewing and annotation? Somehow I couldn't find it in the source code, just curious about it.

It used to be crocodoc, not sure if this is still the case though 🤔

If you have a hosted instance from Instructure, you get DocViewer, which is something they wrote themselves due to issues with Crocodoc. If you are self-hosting, DocViewer is not available. I'm not sure what open source people get (if anything) to annotate their documents.
