Listen for Course Summary and people to load (javascript)

I wrote a script I would like to run right after the Course Summary on the Syllabus page has loaded. I also wrote another script I would like to run right after the people on the People page in the course menu are loaded.
What is the best way to listen for this in javascript? What do you suggest?
