Give An Extra Quiz Attempt Using The API

I'm trying to use the API to increase the number of attempts a student has on a particular quiz. I tried figuring out the syntax using the Live API but I keep getting an error. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong from this screenshot?

Well Canvas Support said that this endpoint is still in beta but is not working. So I've reported it as busted and maybe they will fix it soon.

Seems like the documentation is a bit lacking.  The format of the POST data should resemble this example.

Thanks, I'll give that a try! The Live API apparently does not send it that way.

I finally got around to trying it and it worked! Thanks for the clarification.

Will you be posting here when the Live API version is fixed? It's easier for me to show our Customer Support folks how to use that than it is for me to build a tool for them to use.

So, I've never seen the Live API before.  I'm not sure we support it fully.  It can't quite handle the complexity of this end point from what I can tell, so we'd have to open a support ticket to address that. 

I'd encourage using the API examples and another tool (like POSTMAN or curl) for demoing and scripting, respectively.

For the sake of user experience, it would probably be best to remove that option from the Live API then.

It did work in Postman, but I had to change from sending it as "form-data" (which is what I usually do) to "raw" and then select JSON as the send type.
