File Preview Actions In Addition to Download

Hi there,

I'm a developer doing initial research for a Canvas LTI app. Is it possible to add actionable content to the File Preview on the Course Files page in Canvas? 

Currently, there are three actions: Download, Info, and Close available on files. I'm interested in adding a new action there, one which would send the file to an LTI app. Is this something supported by the Canvas API currently?

I thought that maybe this is a valid Placement for a Content Item? However, the docs do not seem to indicate support.
