Different Authentication for sub-accounts

Is there a way to enable different authentication mechanism for main account and different sub accounts.

We have an use case, where we will have several sub accounts, some of which will need to use canvas login page, some others need to use external auth provider (like Google, SAML)

I could not find any helpful article in tutorials or knowledge base that has this information.

I'm not aware of any way to limit login routes to a sub-account. Canvas does support multiple login routes at the same time and when you provision user accounts you can specify which login provider the user is associated with (login.csv documented on https://canvas.instructure.com/doc/api/file.sis_csv.html). But this does result in a support issue where users get confused about which way they should be logging in.
