Did you notice that the post Module API does not include the publish state?

I've put in "ideal" to request this be added.  Please make your comments to help push this through as most standard users will not understand this need.

We recently discovered the same thing when trying to push a department-wide module. Having the option to auto publish on post would be great. Voted!
