Hi Everyone,
I’m trying to access our Canvas Data 2 database via Postman following the instructions on the site (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Admin-Guide/How-do-I-set-up-Canvas-Data-2-with-an-API-client-Post...) and the video (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A3aKKA3clKZp2gua4qDDeGo2MTd5YQnL/view?usp=sharing), and I’m able to run the “GetJWT” request to retrieve the access token, but running the “Get List of Tables” request or any of the other requests is returning a 401 error. Has anyone else run into this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi @ScottMowry ,just curious, is Canvas Data 2 activated for your instance?
The reason why I ask is because you can still generate the Client ID and Client Secret even if you don't have CD2 access yet for your instance.
Oh, that's probably it. I didn't see anything about it getting our instance activated. Is that something we request, or do we just have to wait our turn?
Hi, you'll probably need to talk to Canvas Support about when it's going to be activated for your particular instance.
