So my school computer is messing up so I'm switching to a new computer & I'm not sure how to get my log in information so that I can log in on my new computer. I also want to transfer all of my other log in information to my new computer so I wont have to reset everything. Please HELP!!
I am sorry, but this is not the best place to get account specific help. Your school's tech department would be better equipped to potentially transfer any existing login information from one device to another. They would also be who you should reach out to regarding your login information. The people on here are community members who volunteer to assist people with Canvas questions. We would not have access to anything your school uses to manage devices and unable to help with your specific needs.
Depending on what systems your school uses, it is possible they might use a Single Sign-On service, meaning you could access other school related services through a single username and password. That would still be something they (not us) could help you with, but it might be worth asking about that to maybe ease some of your worries.
As @JeffCampbell stated, this is not the best place to get account or device specific help. I'll add a nugget to his suggestion about going to your school's tech department. Passwords are usually saved in one of two places:
1) directly in your browser
2) password manager program
You need to determine where your passwords were saved first. It's likely your browser. Firefox and Chrome have a login sync system that can save passwords to a cloud account, making them accessible on another computer.
