Canvas LTI 1.3 to get access to files

Hi, 

Could you please help me with the following questionaire.

1. Basically we would like to send the files (belonging to a particular folder or a course ) from Canvas LMS to our application.

    - If this is possible through LTI 1.3? If not possible, can we atleast send a particular file to our application, by making an LTI connection and get access token and then retrieve the file. I have already added a button(named RwPt - in screenshot) in the action(three dotted) dropdown of the file. On clicking the button, I would like to get this particular file and send it to our application.  Right now I have coded till getting the code after hitting Open connect ID and Launch Canvas LTI urls. Please find the attached screenshot.

2. Once we receive the files in our application we will make it accessible and send it back to Canvas LMS.

    - Again please provide more details about this.

Hi @VikramS,

I have moved your question over to the developers area.  Hopefully some of the brilliant people there will be able to give you a definite answer to this question.  Given the description of your needs, I *think* this may have to go more of an API route than LTI, but I would be happy for someone to tell me that I'm totally wrong about this!
