My college is looking to move from an exam creation application to using Canvas quizzing, but we need aggregate-level data from the quizzes, and what Canvas currently has in the analytics is not enough. We also need this data from our course rubrics. Does anyone know of any already written APIs for this type of data extraction?
I have looked at Canvas Data, but currently our rep said it is not available to us right now, they are putting us on "Data 2" Our assessment team needs: Some of the things are: Overall numbers, perception of question, and difficulty per question.
To get aggregate data, Canvas Data might be your best bet. You can take a look at the data available through Canvas Data 2 here: https://api-gateway.instructure.com/doc/
From my understanding, it will only show the score for whole quizzes, not individual questions within the quizzes
